From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to [[:{{{1}}}]], are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. —Mets501 (talk) 13:11, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

In this case I am referring to your edit summaries, not the edits themselves. —Mets501 (talk) 13:11, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
In response to your terribly rude comment on my talk page, yes, I would have left this message no matter who you were insulting in your edit summaries. —Mets501 (talk) 14:58, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi there. If you're the one who recently edited Visual Basic, please stop making racial slurs and personal attacks in your edit comments. This is against policy (see Wikipedia:No personal attacks) - if you must criticize edits, focus on criticizing the edits themselves and not the person making them. Thanks. Please avoid using abusive edit summaries as per Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Thanks and happy editing. Please do not make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. Nationalparks 14:21, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy against personal attacks and racism. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. This blocked user (block log | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request.

Request reason: "I had made contributions to this encyclopedia, and regardless of my edit summaries, they were verifiable, legitimate and in some cases necessary. I do not contest the block on the grounds that any actions I may have taken were entirely just, but on the grounds that rather than editing my edit summaries, my edits in their entirety were erased, and therefore any proof that said edits took place has been destroyed. Under the terms of any fair and just system, any charges against me should be dropped for lack of evidence to my guilt."
Decline reason: "Per the link below"

Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

I don't think that it is possible to edit the edit summaries once they are made. Every edit is in the page history, so the proof is still there, unless an admin deletes the page entirely. Nationalparks 18:01, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] racist vandalism

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Martin Luther King, Sr., you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Allen 22:09, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Dora the Explorer, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Gimboid13 12:38, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
