It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! -Will Beback 07:20, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Talk:Spider-Man 3
Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'd like to inform you that the talk pages of Wikipedia articles are not a forum for general discussion. The talk pages are meant for discussion to improve the article. General opinions about the article's topic, such as Spider-Man 3 in this case, are not permitted. You can find forums for general discussion elsewhere on the Internet, such as the Internet Movie Database. If you have any questions, just ask me, and I'll give you the heads-up. Have a nice day. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 21:31, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Well let me inform you: I talk about what I want, when I want, got that? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk • contribs). 03:09, 4 November 2006
- You are being uncivil. I have reverted your second attempt to add general discussion to the Spider-Man 3 talk page because such pages are not forums. Please obey Wikipedia guidelines. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 03:34, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
I have reverted your edit to Talk:Spider-Man 3, as this is at least the third time you have ignored talk page guidelines and have attempted to initiate general discussion on the talk page. Please cease contesting the guidelines to which all Wikipedia editors are bound. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 17:12, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Regarding your recent edit: Please do not remove content from Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 23:20, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Except I didn't delete it

Who did I attack? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk • contribs). 03:15, 4 November 2006
The person who you described as as "[expletive] smeeared" in this edit. John254 03:19, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
I know but I never personally attacked anyone
[edit] Lack of civility
I've noticed your lack of civil behavior on a couple of talk pages since I last warned you. On Talk:Real World/Road Rules Challenge, you said: "Oh shut up or be quiet. What have you contributed to Wikipedia in the past 3 and a half years? You're just jealous you didn't come up with the information first. Nobody posted spoilers, yet. At least not since Fresh Meat ended. The only spoiler was that Svetlana and Brad one the new challenge and that Abram being the first to leave Inferno 3". On Talk:Mickey Mouse Club, you said: "IF YOU HAVE NO INTEREST THEN GET OUT." Please read the guidelines at WP:UNCIVIL and adjust your behavior accordingly. If your current behavior persists, I will have no choice but to report your conduct at Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts. Wikipedia is a community, and cooperation should be encouraged among all editors. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 08:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Erick but who are you? Those statements were justified. How is telling someone to get out a bad thing?
- Telling someone to "get out" is rude, unpleasant and confrontational. In a community whose strength is group effort and mutual cooperation, that is indeed "a bad thing." The person you told to get out was one who provided information on the 1970s Lisa Welchel incarnation of the Mickey Mouse Club, which is helpful because that information is a little hard to come by except in one book that I know of. This person was concerned because when Will Beback and I restored Toxicgal's deleted text, we both accidentally failed to identify it as coming from the right person. That was why GBC mentioned having no interest in or info on the era that interests you. The reasonable response was to credit Toxicgal for the section, not to treat someone with hostility merely because he or she happens not to care about the period in the show's history that matters most to you. Would you want to be told to "get out" unless you're a big fan of Annette Funicello and Bobby Burgess? No more is it fair to tell someone else to leave for the same reason. As for who Erick is, who Will is, who I am, we are all registered Wikipedia editors who work at improving the articles with good, verifiable information, while trying to encourage people to follow Wikipedia's rules. (Will is an admin here, so his words carry extra weight.) If you want to contribute to Wikipedia, that's great, and I hope you can find a reliable source to prove the MMC dates once and for all. But please realize that like the rest of us, you are subject to Wikipedia's rules, and any Wikipedian has both the right and the obligation to say something when those rules are violated. If you will try a little harder to keep things pleasant, I think you'll find that your contributions are more likely to be welcomed. Thank you. Karen | Talk | contribs 21:56, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
blah, blah, whatever also i gave you a reliable source already for the dates.

- Also, Wikipedia talk pages are not open forums for what you think is going on or what you think will go on. Leave things like "Tony Oliver's Agent's Brother's Retarded Niece told me..." (it's an exaggeration, I know) to Internet forums.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:36, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
BUT THATS NOT FAIR. THAT WHAT THE TALK IS FOR ANYWAYS—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)
- Talk pages are for discussing changes to the article and information relating to the article. You just list random rumors. If you give sources (even if they are Japanese) then they can be sourced.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
If it were a rumor, I'd list it as a rumor or won't bother posting it, if that were relatively the case. Some of the Japanese sites have asked me not to list the site. Some I get from Dukemon22. you've heard of him right—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)
- Yes, I've heard of Dukemon22, but he isn't any more reliable (and by reliable I mean reputable) than a blog. He got DaiVoyager somewhat wrong (calling it DaiKoukai) so unless we know that he translates it from other things, then we should not use him as a reference.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Agreed, but remember Dukemon22 aka Matt gets his info from the same source as I do.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)
Well, until Terebi-kun scans them then yes. The link to the blog is at rangerboard.com in the boukenger disccusion thread. i think that pretty much covers it—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)
- Well, then we should wait for Terebi-kun to scan them. When they do, paste the links to the scans on the relevant talk pages, and I'll bug someone to translate them to see what else we can glean from them.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:08, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. I'll do that, thanks for your patience, Ryu—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)
Yeah how do i do that—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

[edit] Promo aired X
This information, as well as their length, who was in them, how much money they made, when their dog died, or the production dates are too trivial. Please do not add them, again.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:34, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
It's not nonsense, it never was. You need to get a grip and chill out.70.185.125.101 08:40, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
This information, as well as their length, who was in them, how much money they made, when their dog died, or the production dates are too trivial. Please do not add them, again.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:34, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Why not? How'd you even know I was in the midst of posting them? Are you like on here all day/night or something? do you work?
So what if its trivial, that's why its called triva. That's the purpose of it and its in its proper section so stop gripping and complaining. I see if I was out of line.70.185.125.101 08:39, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- And trivia is to be avoided at all costs. We are working on turning those trivia sections into normal sections, and the length of a promotional clip is in no way important for an article. I know you are posting them, because I watch the articles. I know who edited them last, and you were on your way through to Wild Force if I hadn't commented here.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:42, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Uh, no I wasn't (I was on my way to bed) and I'll just re-add them eventually or incorporate into the article.70.185.125.101 08:44, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- But they are still trivial knowledge. It is not integral to the article to know how that PRiS' promo was 2 minutes long and aired first on November 17. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information which is certainly what your additions to the articles have been.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:46, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
You're immature aren't you? Why are you still tripping off that. You could've ignored it or deleted THAT PART. Did you? No, you didn't, Ryu. Sorry if I sound like a jerk or a nuisance08:49, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- No. Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not is a guideline. It means it should be followed, as is Wikipedia:Avoid trivia sections in articles or other such guidelines. I am just informing you of relevant procedures.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:51, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm going to try to get an exception for TV series from the actors. If they weren't important would, IMDB have em?70.185.125.101 08:53, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- IMDB ≠ Wikipedia. IMDB can have trivia. Wikipedia doesn't like it in articles cause it's usually a bunch of original research and unverifiable factoids.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:56, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Since when is original research bad? I thought that was good? Shit, if you have it that, the site itself is original reasearch. You're admitting that when you have discussions like these.70.185.125.101 08:58, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WP:3RR
I don't have any particularly strong disposition in this little dispute you seem to have wandered into, but please bear in mind the three-reverts rule, found at WP:3RR -- in short, edit warring is strongly discouraged, and the mechanism by which we enforce that is to block editors who revert a given page more than 3 times in 24 hours. There are some exceptions, but for the most part trying to game the rule is a bad idea, which includes repeatedly reverting to your "limit." The letter of the law is less important than the concept, in this case. To that end, please familiarize yourself with WP:3RR. You might also consider dispute resolution, while you're at it. Thanks for your time. Luna Santin 08:57, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
No, noone said anything bad about you, you're welcome for discussion. Did we set you off or something or say something bad you thought we said about you? Concerning that rule, I didn't know about that but thanks for informing me.Also, I like to state I never said anything about "gaming" any rule any strategy. If you're gonna comment like this, help us out at the Real World/Road Rules Challenges forums, someone is deleting out stuff for no reason.70.185.125.101 09:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ] 09:03, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I understand Daniel but hear me out too. I never unedited anybody's stuff. When have you known me to do that? You've got any proof?70.185.125.101 09:06, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh I see, But Number 3 and some of the others are true though, and should be included, if not in Trivia at least there should be a deletion-submission rule.70.185.125.101 09:12, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- The deletion rule is WP:TRIVIA and WP:NOT. There is no inclusion rule. It doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Feel free to create your own Wiki, and add as much trivia as you like - however, on Wikipedia (ie. encyclopedia) we unfortunately don't want it. Sorry, Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ] 09:14, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't give a care, me, my life will go on. Either way eventually this site will change hopefully for the better. Until then I'll lay off the trivia.
Create my Wiki? And have people label me un-official or useless, Daniel, no thanks! I hope I'm not being a jerk or anything.70.185.125.101 09:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- No, no offence taken :) I'm glad to see we reached a sort-of comprimise. However, to help your transition into Wikipedia more easy, can I suggest you read WP:5P and WP:3RR - you must understand that I could have had you blocked today for 3RR, however I felt that you deserve a second chance (on that though, WP:AGF is another handy thing to read :D). Cheers, Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ] 09:20, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm going to print, copy, favorize, staple do whatever i must to read those rules.70.185.125.101 09:23, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Good to hear :) Best of luck, and if you ever need help with anything you know where my talkpage is, Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ] 09:25, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Correct, I'm off to bed. Have a good evening/early morning, next day. lol.70.185.125.101 09:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
