[edit] Please be civil
It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! - ||| antiuser (talk) (contribs) 06:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Continued personal attacks
Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. Following the last warning, you've continued to engage in personal attacks here. MastCell 18:17, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits to HIV test
Please avoid using abusive edit summaries as per Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Thanks and happy editing. Fan-1967 03:25, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please cease your abusive edit summaries, and discuss your changes on the talk pages of the articles before you make your edits. And please keep cool.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:32, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edits to my user page
Darin, if I believed what you do then I too would feel frustrated. But you must realise that aggression is not going to help further your cause; rather it's likely to get you blocked. You do have some specialist knowledge and I'd like to see you contribute constructively to the AIDS reappraisal articles, but first you'll have to accept that most people disagree with you and they aren't likely to change their minds. And for the record, I don't have any affiliation with the pharma industry. If I did, don't you think I might spend more time promoting my company's products and less time editing List of HIV-positive people or AIDS reappraisal? Trezatium 18:32, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Block warning
I am glad to see that your civility has improved. However, it remains unacceptable to call another editor a coward. The policies Wikipedia:Assume good faith, Wikipedia:Civility, and Wikipedia:No personal attacks apply there. Also, per Wikipedia:Verifiability, the burden does not rest on any other editor but yourself to verify the edits you make. It was also a violation of the civility policy to dare another editor to seek sources for your edits.
You are welcome to add encyclopedic content to Wikipedia's articles. Minority views, when properly sourced, deserve a place in Wikipedia. Bear in mind that, per WP:NPOV, the space allotted must reflect the overall level of acceptance of each viewpoint.
However, you can and will be blocked again if you continue to engage other editors in this uncivil manner. DurovaCharge! 06:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with the page AIDS on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link.
