Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia, as you did in Valet parking. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Muchness 04:53, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did in Valet parking, you will be blocked from editing. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. --Chris (talk) 05:23, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did in Valet parking, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Muchness 08:43, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links, as you did to The Departed. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. |

I don't get it... why do you consider my 'The Departed' link to be spam?????? I have dedicated hours and hours of my time, (mostly because I love Martin Scorsese's films), to building a solid fan site for the movie. The link i added was to a fan forum. There's not much info out there on this film and I feel that my contributions are needed and definitely NOT spam... I'm pretty sure that you are classifying my site as spam because I'm running Google ads (if all sites with ads are spam than you have a lot of work to do... because half of the sites linked on wikipedia have ads on them. I strongly feel that I am not a spammer of any kind and that wikipedia users will benefit from my external link. Thank you.
- Please note that:
- Adding a link to a website you own or maintain is expressly forbidden.
- Wikipedia's external link guidelines say that link to fan sites should be avoided (since fan sites are unreliable).
- Please don't add that link back. Mushroom (Talk) 22:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Last warning
Add one of those links again and I will block you from editing. Promised. Mushroom (Talk) 17:32, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
Again, please not not add links to promote your fan site to The Departed. You would appear to have been warned many times about this. If you need to discuss this, please start a discussion on the article's talk page before simply re-adding the link. Kuru talk 16:45, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
