6841 Gottfriedkirch is an asteroid. It is named after the German astronomer Gottfried Kirch (1639-1710). It was originally designated 2034 P-L, and was discovered on September 24, 1960. It also bore the provisional designations 1954 YQ and 1994 PX33 from independent sightings.
