Hi there -- thanks for jumping in and editing!

I noticed your edits to Connecticut. While I think that they are generally adding some needed balance to the article and are helpful, there was one section that is more opinion than fact (I think) when it talks about "Connecticut's independent streak"-- "Connecticut's independent streak is most apparent in its choice for Governor, as the Democrats have failed to win the office since 1986, losing four straight elections to independent Lowell Weicker and Republican John Rowland. Rowland's successor, M. Jodi Rell, is favored to win the 2006 election. Many speculate that Connecticut voters are hesitant to give one party control of state government after the massive expansion in taxes and spending that occurred in the final years of the William O'Neill administration."

[edit] Linking sources

Just as a note since you seem to be adding a number of paragraphs to the Ned Lamont page. When you put in a source, you should either put square brackets [http://en.wikipedia.org] or <ref>http://en.wikipedia.org</ref> around the URL rather than just pasting the URL into the article itself. Cleans up the article a bit and saves other editors having to go back into the article and add the tags. As to which one to use, easiest way to do that is to look at the other citations in the article. If the citations look like this [1] then they are using the square bracket method. If the citations look like this [1] then they are using the ref method. See WP:CITE for more information. Thanks! --Bobblehead 23:05, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

When using the bracket method use a single squarebracket. Double brackets are used to link to wikipages. So in the case of your most recent edit, you'd put [http://www.boston.com/news/education/higher/articles/2006/07/21/lamont_earned_28_million_in_2005_tax_returns_show/]. However, the Ned Lamont page seems to be using <ref>http://www.boston.com/news/education/higher/articles/2006/07/21/lamont_earned_28_million_in_2005_tax_returns_show/</ref> --Bobblehead 23:13, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
