[edit] Rafael Nadal

Why don't you take a look at what I edited before you start making threats. The information I deleted is irrelevant yet takes up almost half of the article. The paragraph is also extremely poorly written and highly anti-Nadal. It needs to be deleted or at the very least shortened immensely and added to the Trivia section. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.0.36.204 (talk • contribs).
- At the time of your deletion, you hadn't added the paragraph on the talk page which you have since. Also, in deleting the paragraph, you gave no explination in the 'Edit Summary' box. Therefore, I was well within my rights to not only revert your unexplained deletion, but also issue you with a warning, considerng the upcoming event (the final against Federer), as many vandals, either strongly for or against a certain person involved, tend to attack these pages. Poorly written? Gee, you should see a lot of other articles, becaue that one is written well compared to others. Anti-Nadal? That's your opinion, but from what I can see, them majority of the paragraph is pretty factual. Also, sign your comments from now on, or I can give you a warning for that as well. And they aren't "threats", but warnings. If you keep accusing me of mispractice like you did above, they will become threats though, and I'll do everything within my power to mke sure they're upheld. Don't forget, I'm a registered user with a lot of edits, and you're an IP - generally my word will have more sway against yours. --Killfest2 07:19, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

- Well apparently everyone else agreed with me as the section has been deleted and condensed to two sentences in the trivia section. This is what I was attempting to do yesterday but did not get a chance to finish before I received threats from you. And I don't know what bazaro world you're living in but when someone posts sentences like- "Nadal uses an obvious ploy to cheat", those aren't facts. I'm not pro or anti Nadal, just want to make sure his article is only factual. Something along the lines of, "Nadal has used a time wasting technique which many have accused of giving him an unfair advantage," is more than sufficient and something along those lines is what is up there now.

- So please try spending a little more of your time going after actual vandalizers instead of making petty threats at people who are only looking to improve the quality of a Wikipedia article that is currently poorly written.

- Oh and sorry I don't know how to sign my comments, I'm pretty knew to this editing thing but I'm learning. But I guess that will make your day as it gives you the chance to make good on your threat of banning me from editing.

- I take your point about the concensus. Just two notes from me to help you avoid ...ugly... stuations like this again:-
-
-
-
-
- When doing something like deleting a section with concensus fom the user page, just make sure you say something like "Deleting section - concensus achieved on talk page" so I know what is going on - blanking is one of the most common acts of vandalism on biography pages, so I apologise for my mistake there.

-
- To sign your comments, just add four tidles (~ x4) to the end of your post, and it will automatically put a link to your page and a timestamp on the comment. Easy!

- Apologies for the miunderstanding - I've done some research which hopefully will allow me to improve the Nadal article to make up for my error. --Killfest2 02:12, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

- You're welcome. One last tip - in discussions like this, notice how each new entry is tabbed in a bit - this is done by using semi-colons (:). If you look at the use of colons on this page, you'll know what I mean. --Killfest2 03:26, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
