Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 65.120.80.8). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Antonrojo 17:13, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] February 2006
February 21, 2006 Just to let you know, this IP is shared by an entire school. Please take action as you see fit, but try to think of us, the other users. Not all of us are complete idiots.

- Removed unblock template. This account was used for frequent usage of vandalism and has been blocked for 1 month. If you have a good-faith account and are just blocked from editing because of the school IP block, I suggest you wait until you reach another computer outside of school or wait until the block expires. [edit] Please understand
{{unblock|not everyone wants to vandalize!}} Dear Wikipedia,
Please do not block this user. This IP is shared by the entire student body of Glen Burnie High School in Maryland, and although some students do vandalize, the majority of students make useful contributions. Also, many students (such as myself) do not have other computers which can be used outside of the school. Wikipedia should be a place where EVERYONE can contribute their knowledge, not just those lucky enough to have their own computers. WHile a small sacrifice of a few seconds of the time it takes to revert vandalism may be necessary for this, I don't think that it is worth losing the knowledgable contributions of almost an entire school of intelligent young adults.
- Sincerely,
- Anonymous Student
- Glen Burnie High School
- Glen Burnie, Maryland
Unblock request is denied for the moment. My suggestion (take it as a suggestion, not as an order) is to register, so that your good edits can be tracked. E-mail the blocking admin when the IP gets blocked; we are a lot more comfortable removing a block that we put in than a block that someone else put in, and we feel a lot easier unblocking in any case when an established editor is involved. --Nlu (talk) 17:12, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Per Nlu, another suggestion would be to take up the issue with your schools system admin, see if they can check their logs to tie up with the vandalism, they can then deal with those responsible. No future vandalism = no future blocks. --pgk(talk) 17:58, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
