[edit] Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!
Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.

Sorry! When saw the image link gone, I assumed it was the one at the top of the page and reverted it. I didn't realize there was a dead one in the body. Thanks for your edits and welcome to Wikipedia! John Reaves 22:16, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your attempts to edit DM Ashura.
I really love it how you delete a statement that is in plain english on the cited page. You need to get your head out of your ass and deal with statements that HAVE SOURCES. Your edits are non-helpful and not following wikipedia standards for deleting information; namely "When in doubt, don't delete." I can also assume that you're a member of the GNAA, here to backup the SPUItard if not an outright sockpuppet.
From the source of the statement you deleted:
It is with great anticipation that we announce that DM Ashura has joined the ranks of O2Jam artistes. DM Ashura is well-known in the beat game community for his numerous remixes of songs from various music games, especially "neoMAX".
You're either illiterate or cherry-picking. Either way, you have no place on Wikipedia. Any more attempts to delete a properly sourced and cited statement will garner you the attentions of a sysop. And by the looks of your userpage, you don't have much wikicredit left, unless this is a public proxy/public place which would lend credibility to sockpuppetry. Pumeleon 20:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Combat
Please do not add nonsense (or other silly comments, this is only a template for users to give out) to Wikipedia, as you did to Combat. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. MikeLeeds 18:53, 12 December 2006 (UTC)MikeLeeds
Its only a template, and if you read the article, it does say combat usually refers to "armed conflict between military forces in warfare", as oposed to 'fighting' which was what you mean when you claim its a sport. MikeLeeds 19:00, 12 December 2006 (UTC)MikeLeeds
[edit] Plural vs singular
Thanks for the link to WP:NC#Prefer_singular_nouns in response to my requested moves. I deleted my requests, and instead changed the titles of the other similar articls to be singular, so now they all have the same format. Those moves didn't require a request. Spylab 19:09, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
