The 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be telecast in the 2007-01-15. Some key dates announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association are:

  • 2006-12-06 • Final screening date for Motion Pictures
  • 2006-12-14 • Nomination announcement of the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (at 5:00 a.m.)
  • 2006-12-26 • Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
  • 2007-01-15 • Presentation of “The 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards”

The ceremony will be broadcast live on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST.[1] Indicating the impact that animated films have had on the film industry, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced in early 2006 that a Golden Globe would be awarded for the Best Animated Feature for the first time at this award ceremony.[2]
