The 64th Academy Awards were presented March 30, 1992 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles. The show was the third consecutive to be hosted by Billy Crystal and also featured Jack Palance's infamous one-handed push ups.
The Silence of the Lambs won five major awards, only the third film to do so after It Happened One Night (1934) and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975).
