It doesn't really help Wikipedia to accuse editors of "retaliatory reverts" and stupidity when you disagree. I reverted only those changes that I thought needed reverting. And in one case, when I thought it would be better handled by others, I made a note on the talk page. The Mobuto connection is definitely relevant to the name and it can be rephrased to make sense.
It would help if you used the edit summary box. People might be less inclined to revert your changes if you explained them. It would also not be a bad thing if you registered an account, although that is not required. Daniel Quinlan 22:34, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)
- Mention of Mobutu is not at all necessary in what is essentially just a disambiguation page. This is all explained in greater detail in the proper pages. Your version can only mislead by giving the impression that 1971-1997 was exactly the time Mobutu ruled. Edit summary issue is a red herring when you continue to revert me even after I explain my edits in the talk pages at greater length than I possibly could in a summary. 63.209.14.211 23:12, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

" This isn't a user page, it's a location where vandalism once took place"
- and unless you're willing to fix the several hundred links that link to it, just leave the dummy edit in place.
- It's a personal attack and of no use to have as a page. Red links never hurt anybody. --W(t) 00:46, 2005 May 29 (UTC)
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Wantedpages It hurts the project and anyone who wishes that page was useful.
If the article exists, it goes away next time that page is refreshed (once every few hours or whatever.
Please stop creating empty nonsense pages. This is against wikipedia policy and pollutes wikipedia. If you want to make big changes like this, discuss them first. --W(t) 01:05, 2005 May 29 (UTC)
