[edit] Welcome

Hello, welcome. I note you are improving the quality of some articles, copyediting to remove typos and such. Good work! Do you have a logged-in account as well? If not, may I encourage you to register? - Just zis  Guy, you know? [T]/[C] (W) AfD? 15:20, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Year links

It is not necessary to make individual years into links. While it is useful to link a date, month and year, so it displays as set by a user's preference, linking a year on its own is not (usually) helpful. From Wikipedia:Manual of Style (links)#Internal_links: Other chronological items such as simple years (e.g., 1981) should be treated like any other words and linked only if they are particularly relevant to the topic. See also Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Usage of links for date preferences: year only. So [[1974]] → 1974. Generally, do not link, unless they will clearly help the reader to understand the topic. - - Thank you, Vclaw 18:16, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I see you've already been warned about this. Please don't keep doing it! Thanks. Stephenb (Talk) 11:22, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
