[edit] Hi everyone, sorry!
Hi all wikipedia users. I (user Hunterd) apologise on behalf of this IP address; it is a school IP (hundreds of computers networked together) and thus idiots often vandalise articles here. I recommend that this IP be blocked indefinitely, to prevent such vandalising. I would sign in as my user (Hunterd/ZPMMaker) but there's a program on this particular PC that records passwords... Sorry, and block this IP!! 61.69.12.13 01:09, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Hi everyone, sorry! Mk II
OK (see previous post), now that I'm home and on my own computer I can log in without concern for my password. I confirm that I wrote the last message (in regards to this IP (61.69.12.13) being that of a school network) and I still believe the only way we can prevent the idiots at my school from vandalising Wikipedia is by permanently blocking this IP. This will still allow those who rely on Wikipedia (such as myself) to access information, but will prevent said idiots from editting sites (unless, of course, they make an account - and in which case we can just block that account). - This wasn't vandalism. This was me, editing at school. I forgot to sign in. N.B.: This IP is shared across several (i.e. 20+) schools within the state of Victoria, so you will be unjustly blocking a lot of good Wikipedians. I realise that this IP is responsible for a lot of vandalism, but blocking me (of all, blocking the 7th-most addicted Wikipedian) is highly inconvenient. I need my hourly fix! lol. Oh well...
