[edit] History
The five members of 5star Fallout come from different areas of the country and have different musical backgrounds. Four of the members, John McCaffrey, Peter Williams, Andrew Kerr and Michael Murphy were all high school friends from Taupo and had been in various bands together. Adam Stevenson is from Greytown and has also been involved in bands throughout school.
Since 5star Fallouts formation in 2006, they have already performed with such New Zealand acts as Steriogram, 48May, Goodnight Nurse, My Life Story, Mum's Dollar and Tadpole.
After performing one of their songs Season live on The Edge radio station, the station was flooded with texts and calls that overwhelmed the presenters so much they were forced to replay the song.
Their spontaneous success has been likened to that of Australian band The Royales.
