Though a Texas citizen for more than a decade, I was raised in the Rocky Mountain area of New Mexico. I served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a AFSC 493 (now 3C2X1) Tech Controller at Clark AB, Philippines and the 33rd Combat Communications Squadron at Tinker AFB, OK. I was discharged a few months before the kickoff of Gulf War I.

I have taught high-school English for more than a decade. Forty years of age will soon claim me.

I have deep interests in all sports with prominent dispositions toward the Denver Broncos, St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Rangers. I also try to stay on top of items related to New Mexico and other places I have lived (there are seven other cities on my resume).

I have a strong and long background in the history of Major League Baseball and its minor leagues. However, I will edit anything I find amiss with a professional writing instructor's eye.

I chose my name because of the NFL's Broncos (there are 53 players on the full roster) and my wistful memories of horses during my childhood on a farm and ranch.
