"4th of July" was the twelfth episode of the children's series TUGS. The title referred to the celebrations of the 4th of July regatta in Bigg City port.

It's almost the fourth of July and in Bigg City a huge regatta is preparing to take place. But excitement turns to disaster when Lillie Lightship is in danger of sinking and Grampus is in danger of being blown up. Will this dampen everyone's spirits? Will they both be saved in time?
