4BC is a Radio Station available in Brisbane on 1116AM.
4BC is Queensland's Number One Rated and Brisbane's only Commercial Talk Station. Using the promotional phrase "News Talk 1116" 4BC delivers lively and accurate talk, entertainment, information, news, sport and traffic updates 24 hours a day.
4BC reporters strive to be the first source for accurate and immediate news and information. Using their own resources and those of Southern Cross Broadcasting outlets interstate, and sister networks overseas, 4BC is often reporting LIVE from news events around the world.

Traffic reports are heard half hourly from 5.30 am to 6.30 pm and during peak hour come from Australian Traffic Network helicopters covering South East Queensland.

Gail Watson and John Wall look at the main stories in the day's newspapers as well as up to date finance and weather. There's also the latest world news from the BBC and On This Day with Mike Carlton. On Fridays, Gail and Peter Psaltis preview the weekend in sport.

Peter Dick and Ross Davie began their partnership July 2005 when John Miller was shuffled to the Drive Program. Breakfast includes “World’s Shortest Quiz”, "The 4BC Breakfast Poll", "The Scoop" (A Chance for listeners to give news), "The Ear: Mark Oberhardt", "Radio Solutions" and Open Line Conversation.

For virtually all of the 50 years John Laws has worked in radio, earning the title of "Undisputed king of Australia's Talk-back Airwaves" and has remained at the top of the ratings - an achievement many say will never be obtained again. "Lawsy transmits from the studios of 2UE in Sydney, occasionally broadcasting from Brisbane on special days like "People's Day". The John Laws Show is 3 hours of Open Line Discussion. When Lawsy can't broadcast, he is repalced by Tim Webster.

Greg Cary is also the 4BC Program Director Even though he is in charge of all programming on 4BC, he maintains his program so he can keep in touch with listeners. Afternoons covers a diverse number of subjects through Open Line Chat.
