Français : Le Yamato (大和), était un cuirassé de premier rang de la marine impériale japonaise, le plus grand cuirassé jamais construit. Vétéran de Truk, de la bataille de la mer des Philippines et de la bataille du golfe de Leyte, il fut coulé le 7 avril 1945 au large d'Okinawa.
