45 Degrees North Latitude

45 Degrees North Latitude, known as the midpoint between the Equator and the North Pole. This line of latitude passes through many states and even makes up the border between the US state of Vermont, and the Canadian province of Quebec. The cities of Ottawa, Montreal and St. Paul are on this parallel.

US states that this line of Latitude passes through are:

Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana (possibly a bit of Wyoming), Idaho, Oregon.

Canadian provinces that this line of Latitude passes through are:

Ontario, Quebec.
