The 3rd Company of Engineers was an Irish Defence Forces Engineering Support Company under the command of the southern brigade.
It formed part of the FCA, and was decommissioned and replaced on 1st October, 2005 with the integration of the Irish defence forces. The unit now operates under the title, 31 Res Engr Coy, and is part of the RDF.
The unit was based in both Sarsfield Barracks Limerick , and Collins Barracks (Cork).
