3 Strikes is a 2000 urban comedy film that was written and directed by DJ Pooh. It stars Brian Hooks as Rob Douglas, an African American male that is just released from prison. The state of California adopts a rule of "3 strikes" for felons, that have serious penalties for the third offense. Rob has 2 strikes, and wants to start out clean as he is released from prison. However, after his friend drives him away from the prison, they get pulled over by the police for marijuana possession. His friend shoots at the officer and he gets shot. But Rob is able to escape. So Rob is a wanted man again.
