37th United States Congress - Political Parties
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Thirty-seventh United States Congress was a meeting of the United States national legislature, including the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. It met in Washington, D.C. from March 4, 1861, to March 3, 1863. This Congress sat during the first two years of the first administration of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, and the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives was based on the Seventh Census of the United States in 1850.
This article supplements the main article with a list of the members by political party.
