31 is a community television station based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Its programming is specific to the general Brisbane community and features many locally produced shows. It is broadcast on UHF channel 31 at 548.224 MHz, from the ABQ-2 transmitter tower on Mount Coot-tha. It offers newcomers to the media an opportunity to gain experience before entering commercial broadcasting, such QUT media students. The station also carries a number of programs originally developed at other Channel 31 stations in other states, also following their practice of broadcasting old movies, classic television shows and programming and current news bulletins sourced from Deutsche Welle and Voice of America to pad out the remaining air-time.

The station commenced transmission from its West End studios on July 31, 1994. The station completed a much welcomed upgrade to its transmitter strength, boosting range and greatly improving quality of reception, a common complaint against the station, in October 2005.

On January 23, 2006, the station began a competition to find a new name and logo. The winning name is "31", replacing "Briz 31".
