30mins was a unique project undertaken by the illustrator Daryl Campbell created between 1st June 2005 - 31st May 2006. The project involved producing an illustration every-other-day for one year to reflect a topic which appeared in the headlines of a news source on that day. Drawings had to be created within 30 minutes, from concept to final piece. All of the images were created using pen & ink with heavy black outlines defining the forms. The illustrations are a direct interpretation of the article in question, expressing the viewpoint as delivered.

[edit] Links and Education

Each image created has been titled according to the headline of the article which it represents. On the website these headlines appear as links which reference the original article, thus providing depth to the illustrations and enabling viewers to delve deeper into the topic in question. The aim of the project is to raise awareness about the world with stories being told through the eyes of the media.
