[edit] Not nonsense

This is not nonsense. Check numerous newspapers. Check the coverage of the recent (June 4, 2005) Yukon Liberal Party leadership convention. The man has stated his beliefs that he is the reincarnation of Elvis. I do not believe it; I believe he is not completely sane in this regard, but it does not change the fact that this man believes it, and has legally adopted the name, dresses like Elvis Presley and has performed, if you wish, as an Elvis impersonator.

I would have included the man's original birth name, unfortunately, it is not routinely printed in newspaper stories about him. The newspapers (Whitehorse Star and the Yukon News) have accepted his current legal name.

[edit] Quotation Marks

Since he refers to himself officially as Elvis Presley and not as Tagish Elvis, why not put some quotation marks around "Tagish" in the title and text? Thought I'd check here before changing anything.

[edit] Far distant fourth

I hear (I'm a Yukoner) that Mr. Presley missed the election he ran for because his car broke down and his attempt at hitch-hiking did not amount to much.

Sorry, no sources to quote.
