[edit] Knights of the Old Republic articles

Please stop changing articles associated with KotOR and its sequel to indicate sexual ambiguity. As stated in the Darth Revan article, the canon sex of Revan is male (this is referenced), even though it is player choice. The canon sex of the Jedi Exile is not yet confirmed but male is presumed (sourced as well). Wikipedia fiction always deals with what is canon, and since both articles include information discussing the player's choice, the masculine pronouns in the articles are correct. Again, I must to ask you to stop. The sources are all there that confirm Revan's canonical sex to be male. Continually deleting this from the article can be taken as vandalism and won't be tolerated. Nufy8 07:08, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
This will be your final warning. Please cease, or you will be blocked. Nufy8 07:12, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
It's unfortunate that the reference link isn't working, but regardless, it stated that Lucasfilm considers Revan to be male lightside in canon. The author of the timelines stated that Lucasfilm requested he leave Revan's gender open in the books so that it would not spoil the game for fans. However, the article quite clearly states that in the game, the player can choose what gender/path Revan takes, just that official canon considers it to be male lightside. Although the link is inactive, it is still considered a valid source. The forum thread contained questions directed at Daniel Wallace, the author of The New Essential Chronology, about the nature of his upcoming work and how he planned to tie elements of KotOR into it. With questions pertaining to Revan's canon situation, Wallace affirmed that Lucasfilm considered the lightside male version of Revan to be canon, and that Lucasfilm wanted to avoid spoiling the game by publishing the specific canon (such as in the chronologies).
