hi 24. you flagged pacifica_pier as a copyright violation, please see my response on the copyright page. Regards, Paul E Ester 19:30, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
I am amused that you found my article on the Swedenborgian House of Studies "US-centric". I have been accused of various POV fallacies, but that's a new one to this Canuck. Ironically, my username is taken from a rabidly anti-American MP. Cheers. ;) Carolynparrishfan 20:16, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
Apparently this user is either a robot or at least robotic without a mind of its own. Clearly he/she/it doesn't take the time to read the articles, given the rate at which the revisions are posted. B.Wind 15:26, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
Hi! How come u already found the article I've created:)? How come u r not registered user? Luka Jačov 21:52, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Comment Julia Roberts (QVC presenter)copy vio
Your edit summary was so right on. There are quite many images there that are a year or more old with no copyright information , others with 7 day tags that were put on nearly a year ago and one of the admins has some images labeled a century old that don't look that old at all and comments about them on the discussion pages which have been ignored. People don't like to delete because every deletion and vote to delete is taken off their edit count. oh well just bloging.--Megan 22:56, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Punctuation
In your efforts to insert the word "England" into every article on an English placename, perhaps you would consider getting the punctuation right? In the middle of a sentence it needs to be (for example): "Gitsborough, Anyshire, England, a small town of no interest etc" - please note the necessary comma AFTER England.Staffelde 01:00, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Omaha vs. Omaha metro
I see that you've noticed that the Omaha, Nebraska article has a large amount of information that has a more "natural" home in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area article. If you'd like to help out in the effort to clean up the article, reply in Omaha's talk page. –Swid 01:43, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Fort Magruder
See Talk:Fort Magruder regarding which county.
[edit] Maxwell (Surname) Article
I'm not sure what you think needs formatting in this article, but I hope you aren't thinking about links. If a word wouldn't be followed by see also, or qv ("which see") in a printed encyclopedia, then the words in question don't need a link here [1].
With regards to setting lower case a parenthetical word in a title, that's considered stylistically incorrect also (see "Capitalization: Titles of Works," Merriam-Webster's Manual for Writers & Editors). Since it appears as if you are unqualified to speak on this matter, I'm removing your tag. Primetime 14:18, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Are You a Pseudologue?
I just think that it's pathetic that you were a professional writer but that I can still find passages like "Four edits to my Talk page, and you." (You didn't learn in high school that you should have a subject in your sentences?) "This is Wikipedia, not Merriam-Webster's," is really poorly worded. You obviously haven't even read a dictionary recently. If you had, you would realize that Merriam-Webster's must be followed by Dictionary or Guide for Writers and Editors to make sense. Titles of publications should also be set in italic type. I also think it's shameful that were too lazy to edit a two-line article yourself. For a professional writer (I'm implying that you're lying about that), all you seem you know about (besides birds and network shows) is how to deface other people's articles with tags as well as making pedantic corrections like adding USA after California.
As for researching the standards of Wikipedia, you obviously have more time on your hands than me to do things like that, given all of your meaningless edits. However, it also seems as if you don't even have a basic knowledge of the principles that underlie such rules. I have not been paid to edit any thing (although I have been paid to write corporate memos, reports, and letters) nor did I major in English in college, yet I at least know how to write a passage or two in English without lying or looking stupid. It looks like you should speak for yourself when it comes to this matter.
Sincerely,
Primetime 22:22, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
P.S. You actually have fewer edits than me if you count my anonymous edits and edits under my old IP address. I don't know why you wrote thousands, either, because you have less than 500.
[edit] Wilderness
I already posted a couple of responses about the word 'area" on the protected area talk page and wanted to let you know that I'll look into it and you have a valid point...I may not straighten it out until the end of the weekend so have pateince with me....also, as active as you are, it is a lot easier if you just create a username...you actually have more animinity with one than without, but it is only a friendly suggestion and I do not hold your use of just an IP address as your moniker against you.--MONGO 09:18, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Active cleanup
It all depends how you define active. CA has active faults but they don't get earthquakes every day. Volcanoes in Oregon are active but they don't erupt everyday. It's better for the school articles to be seen with intent rather than wallow cyper space for a few years. Or worse start a huge fight in AFd that always ends in keep. This way , in the long run, peoples time is saved. David D. (Talk) 01:36, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Henry Moore
OK, I messed up by adding Sir Henry Moore when an article already exists as Henry Moore (governor), but I do try and read guidelines and the reason I used the title "Sir" for a bio, comes from Naming conventions (names and titles) which clearly says "Sir" may be used in article titles as a disambiguator, i.e., I was not wrting about Henry Moore the Sculptor.

[edit] A questionable copyright violation was invoked on the Dana Priest article from this numbered IP
- Why aren't you are registered user?
- Why did you invoke the {copy-vio}? I started a new article on Ms Priest and was very disturbed to see that an article on her had just been deleted as a copyright violation. I can see that article had 14 edits on it. This makes me feel it was highly unlikely that the article was a straight cut and paste of the PBS biography. If so the whole article should not have been removed. -- Geo Swan 13:42, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Hi
Yes, you are correct about Luanne/Jake Remington: he's also known as the North Carolina Vandal. The only "good" thing about that page is it presents lots of evidence about his favorite obsessions, but I'll delete it. Thanks for tagging it. Antandrus (talk) 04:00, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] James A. Garfield High School (Seattle)
Clarence Acox was recruited straight out of Southern University in 1971 specifically to revive the crappy music program at Garfield. Acox is the one who set precedent.[[2]] WAvegetarian (talk) (email) (contribs) 14:58, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Albert Hill Assistant Principal
Your edits where generally good - thanks - but as for the assistant principal, Mrs. Knight, their official website lists the Assistant Principal as Mrs. Gill. I did not use Albert Hill's site as my only resource, as it is quite a bit out dated - Mrs. Gill was Assistant Principal last year, and they have not changed their site since.
I know that Mrs. Knight is the current Assistant Principal, seeing as I have met her on numerous occasions and attent the school - however, I'll try to get some sources before a re-add.--Kigoe 18:57, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Injector-Henri Giffard- name included
Sorry for not including. I misunderstood that the external link also had the details of the inventor. I found now that it does not. Hence the said link is now included please. Hope that this is in order.

[edit] Talize
I'm happy to see you tag stuff like Talize, but putting it on AFD is really better. You should still be able to create pages outside the main article space. If you don't know how to put something on AFD, please read the footer of WP:AFD/Today. - Mgm|(talk) 12:12, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- You appear to have a good track record for creating stuff, so just leave me a note with the relevant information on my talk page and I'd be happy to nominate some articles in your name. - Mgm|(talk) 12:57, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- By the way, if you tag something for deletion, regular or speedy, please don't remove the text you're tagging. It slows down the speed by which admins can handle the deletion. - Mgm|(talk) 13:11, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Not that I really care, but what is the real point of making one-grammatical corrections to every page on the planet? Just curious... Dave 16:15, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] IMDb categories
What were you trying to fix on Template:Imdb name? Something to do with back-end categories being visible on articles? But where? I can't see what you might be talking about. --KJBracey 11:01, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Mini-Con move
The actual page was at Mini-Con (Transformers), moved from Mini-Con by another user. Mini-Con was then edited into a disambig by that same user. I moved this disambig to Minicon. I then changed the redirect at Mini-Con to Mini-Con (Transformers) for the time being. I don't see how I can or could do the move myself. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 13:45, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please read what you have told me to read: "If the new title already exists but is just a redirect to the old title". Such moves only work when the redirect is a redirect to the article being moved. After my move, Mini-Con was automatically made into a redirect to Minicon. This did not allow me to move Mini-Con (Transformers) to Mini-Con, because Mini-Con was not a redirect to Mini-Con (Transformers). ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:50, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
