Attention:

This host 218-186-9-6.cache.maxonline.com.sg, is registered to StarHub Cable (Singapore) and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism in which case, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of severe vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be
forwarded
to your network administrator for further investigation.

[edit] The block

The block wasn't mine; all I did was temporarily unblock the IP to change the block type, before restoring the original block (with different settings). The block was originally made by User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me -- if you have an issue, please contact him because it was his block to start with. Because it was his block to start with, I myself will not unblock the IP. -→Buchanan-Hermit /?! 05:02, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Hannah Montana

Your recent contribution(s) to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. Thanks!

[edit] Your edits to Acorn Computers

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --KeithB 14 November 2006, 14:06 (UTC)

[edit] Edit to World Tag Team Championship

Your edit to this article was discussion, which belonged on the article's talk page. Discussion -about- an article's content should go on the article's discussion page, which can be added to by clicking the "discussion" tab at the top of the article, then clicking "edit this page" and adding your content to the bottom. Remember to sign your post with four tildes (~)!

I have reverted your changes, as the content you added turned a numeral 11 into the sentence, "Website says 12 pls check and confirm." This is clearly in reference to the content of the article, rather than actual content. An appropriate way to add this content would be:

  1. Edit the page, changing the numeral 11 to a 12.
  2. Add a reference to the web site you mentioned just now. You'd do this by typing: <ref name="Site">(The URL of the web site goes here)</ref>. This text goes at the end of the sentences you edited in the previous step.
  3. At the end of the page, if it isn't already there, add a section called 'References' by typing: ==References==.
  4. Make sure that section contains this tag: <references/>.
  5. Go to the talk page and inform other editors of the change, if you feel it's necessary.

Your change will now show up with a footnote afterward, leading to a citation of the web site you were talking about earlier. Now your edit is encyclopedic, rather than discussion, and appropriate for Wikipedia. For more information on footnotes and citing sources, check out Help:Footnotes and Wikipedia:References. You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia because of disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated.
