Thank you for experimenting with the page Steve Jobs on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 05:17, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --J.L.W.S. The Special One 08:08, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Page blanking
Please do not remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- — xaosflux Talk 02:11, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Is there anything wrong with asking somebody to semi-protect a page because you think the vandals will attack the page? Especially if the page is where you report vandals? (this unsigned comment was left by 218.186.9.5 at 04:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC))
- You should request semi-protection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, if you believe it is warranted. Mishatx 04:14, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for telling me that. This place is confusing. I guessed I asked at the wrong place. I wasn't trying to disrupt Wikipedia to prove a point like the other person said. You're the only nice person here, not like the other people who like to block me. So much for trying to help. I can't request there when blocked, so I guess I have to wait for my block to be over, and then request. Or you can help me request. I happened to stumble on that page while random browsing, and it should be semi-protected, otherwise vandals can remove their reports. And I know what semi-protection is because my favourite article was semi-protected because of vandalism, not by me, of course. (this unsigned comment was left by 218.186.9.5 at 04:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC))
- I'll let you make the request (tomorrow, I suppose) since I don't feel strongly about sprotecting that page.
- I'll leave a welcome message below with some links to help you out once you get unblocked. I know Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first. Mishatx 04:36, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
OK, I went to the link you gave me and asked them to semi-protect the page where you report vandals. I hope they give me an answer quickly.
Have removed names. If you want to promote the names of gay activists/etc please do it elsewhere. Personal websites exist for a reason.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Napoleon Dynamite. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
