Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Tangotango 04:41, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

permanent vandal IP
As far as I can see, this IP adress has been used for nothing but vandalism. A list of its contributions, and a mere look over the amount of red in this talk page quickly convince you of that. Since I am extremely reluctant to suggest permanently banning an IP, that might still be used by sensible people, willing to contribute helpfully to the Wikipedia, I suggest we do, what the infobox at the top of this article suggests: Contact StarHub to report network abuse. If a consensus can be reached, this should be brought to an administrator. — Mütze 10:44, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

permanent block
Would it be possible to require account creation for users editing from these particular IP addresses instead of repeatedly blocking them? Repeated temporary blocks are not the solution; they are tantamount to a permanent ban, and unless I'm mistaken, I believe that one modem reset is all that is required to switch to another IP address. 218.186.9.4 10:28, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Property. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Final warning before block for vandalism
- Please be aware that this is a IP address shared by hundreds - possibly thousands of Singaporean users. If you block this IP address, I do not doubt many positive editors will be barred from making their contributions. Please reconsider this. Ariedartin JECJY Talk 15:19, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- First, I doubt that an indefinite block can be applied to an IP address, only a user account. However, a long duration block can be applied. Second, unless I'm mistaken, I believe the block would apply only to anonymous editors posting from this IP address. There is nothing stopping the users on this IP address from creating their own accounts to avoid being barred from contributing. -Amatulic 16:21, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- I only know of semi-protection which prevents anonymous and newbie editing, but I do not know of semi-blocks. I reckon they were a proposal under consideration, then archived and never heard of again. Ariedartin JECJY Talk 10:41, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Everitt Road saga
Your recent contribution(s) to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. Thanks! Shimeru 10:16, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Shimeru 10:16, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
