[edit] Old stuff that doesn't pertain to the current user of this IP
Please do not list users at WP:AIV without first trying to contact them or warn them on their talk pages. AIV is the last resort after attempts to communicate have failed. Rather than simply blocking everyone involved for violating the Three Revert Rule, I am first warning everyone involved to discuss their complaints in the relevant talk pages. Now for the standard 3rr warning:
Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. - BanyanTree 14:49, 18 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Esperanza and getting a new account
By all means, you're welcome to join Esperanza. We won't turn away any good editor! I'm sure you've heard this before, but you might want to consider creating an account to give yourself a more concrete identity in the community (along with many other benefits). -- Essjay · Talk 18:23, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Good IP
Hey there good IP :) Glad to have you aboard. Would love more good editors helping out. Together we can end vandalism! Or.. atleast fix it whenever it springs up :) Cheers. Celerityfm 19:30, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
- Ok. Final note. I didn't know what you meant by "can I help you out" I thought you meant "can I contribute to your crusade" not "I have a tip for you" :) However, your tip is most excellent and I appreciate you taking the time to educate me. Thank you!! Celerityfm 19:56, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Reply
To the user who left a message on my talk page: Thanks for your note. In fact, IPs (users who are not logged in) are intended to be able to edit articles, just like any other user. A username has its advantages, but it's not necessary for contributing. Regards — Dan | Talk 18:26, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
- Aha, I see. Wikipedia:Recentchanges used to be protected because it received a lot of vandalism, but was unprotected temporarily and hasn't had a vandalism problem since then, and hence remained unprotected. The notices on the talk page should probably be updated. — Dan | Talk 18:38, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] What does this mean?
Hi Essjay. What does "concordia cum veritate" mean? I see that you know a bit of Latin, so I decided to come by and ask. --216.191.200.1 16:17, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
- If I may show off my meager knowledge of latin here, it's "In concordance with the truth" (concordance is "agreeing with" or "in harmony with"). --fvw* 16:25, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Another invitation
Good IP, there are many things you're missing out of because you don't have an account. You do not need to leave any personally-identifiable information if you don't want to (it's actually more secure, since your IP isn't revealed to others like it is now), so I do recommend you getting an account. Ask me any questions at my talk page. Titoxd(?!?) 21:23, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for correcting that error in my user page! I hadn't seen that mistake, but I agree, it reads much better now. :) As for your question, I ran into your edits by looking at the member list of Esperanza, where you signed up. While I understand your reasons for not getting an account (after all, this site is a bit addictive) having it gives your edits—whether they come at a rate of one per minute or one per week—much more legitimacy. As a member of Wikipedia's Counter-Vandalism Unit, I can tell you than most vandalism comes from anonymous IPs, and that fact makes your edits suspect as soon as you make them; so, I insist that an account is so unobtrusive and beneficial that you should get one. [edit] Your message
Sorry, but I have been a bit angry for the past couple of weeks due to personal problems. I am sorry if you think that my actions against Boothy's oppose votes were zealous - however, I believe that they are true. Opposition to all admins. is not acceptable without proper reasons - I saw his "standards" which proved to be reasonable, but he has above all rejected nearly all admins. even if they fit in these standards.
By the way, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GET AN ACCOUNT Please!!!!! WE NEED YOU, GET AN ACCOUNT!!!! I SEE OTHERS WERE ASKING, WE NEED PEOPLE HERE. YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW IP'S WITHOUT VANDALISM WARNINGS, COME IN PLEASE : ). Molotov (talk) 20:56, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Not an admin.
I'm not an admin, so I have no power to block. I'll bring the problem to the attention of the vandal patrol, however. BD2412 T 17:34, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
