Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links, and you are asked never to add links to your own sites. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
By the way, this isn't to criticize you or the quality of your blog. However, Wikipedia generally does not allow links to blogs or adding links to your own site. Wmahan. 06:32, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi- I'm sorry if this treatment has been a bit harsh. But Mathematician articles are very important in terms of being encyclopedic, and so we try to insist that only highly renowned links and peer reviewed journal material etc. make it on the article. I really like the fermatslasttheorem blog, I think it has good insights and is a fun read, but unfortunately it has no place alongside a site like wolfram for instance. I hope you understand, and realise that we value new contributors, especially on science/math related articles. Don't feel discouraged, and happy editing. Borisblue 06:34, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
No problem. I have nothing but the highest respect for Wikipedia. I will respect your policy and no longer add any links to my blog on wikipedia. I hope it is ok that I continue to link back to wikipedia from my blog whenever my content is based on your content.

- Thanks for understanding. Linking to Wikipedia is fine of course. I think your blog is interesting and hope it continues. Wmahan. 06:54, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
