If you vandalize the Belinda Stronach page again, I will ban you for 24 hours. CJCurrie 18:29, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
How is that vandalism? The page is completely bias towards the liberals and I'm trying to right that. It's sad that you people try to maintain the false image of her through censorship.
she sold herself to the highest bidder, Paul Martin.
This is POV, and it is also vandalism. If you think the page is biased, please learn how to avoid these before posting to it again. CJCurrie 18:37, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Do you deny that she left the conservatives so she could have a cabinet seat? She didn't care about values or ideas, she simply wanted power, and Martin was the one who had it. Pretty straighfoward.
That's an extrapolation from the facts, not an unbiased presentation of the same. I suspect many people share in this view, but that doesn't make it verifiable. CJCurrie 18:44, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
But when taken into the context of previous events in her life when she took the easy way to gain instant power, I believe it should be included. It continues to show that she never wants to work hard to at something, just have it be handed to her. 206.222.93.183
That's an argument, not an encylopedic description. Please avoid editorializing in Wikipedia articles. Lay out the facts and let people come to their own conclusions. Homey 18:57, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
well what about "Political scientist Linda Trimble of the University of Alberta has studied the media's treatment of Belinda Stronach and describes some of the reaction to Stronach's defection to the Liberals as "offensive and sexist."" or
"Women's groups charged that the media also unfairly characterized the transition."
Aren't those both just arguments made by supporters of Stronach since they can be proven?
No: both are references to comments that other people have made. There's a considerable difference between this and "she never wants to work hard at something". CJCurrie 19:06, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
So if I go out on the internet and find some columnist or pundit with the same opinion as I've stated, and I quote them on that statement, it would be ok?
It depends on the context and presentation, but it could be allowed. (Make sure you use a reliable source, if you go this route.) CJCurrie 19:13, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
