- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.

- The eligibility to eventually become an administrator.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. -- Alf melmac 13:39, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speaker of the United States House of Representatives
Hi -- I reverted it because you deleted a picture without giving an edit summary. Unfortunately deletion without edit summaries usually means a vandal; I couldn't be sure in this case so I just put a note in my edit summary asking you to explain the reason in your next edit summary. Thanks for responding; and I'm sorry about the inconvenience -- I just wanted to make sure it was a good faith edit. Thanks. Mike Christie 20:07, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please go ahead and fix it -- I'm not a regular editor of that page; I was just looking at recent changes and checking them to see if they were good edits. So I'm sure you'd do a better job than me. Thanks; please ask if there are any other questions. Happy editing. Mike Christie 20:16, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Thanks for your recent helpful contributions to the Wikicalendar project! You should really consider registering for an account :). Fabricationary 16:25, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
