Attention:

This IP address, 204.38.129.10, is registered to Northwestern Michigan College/Traverse City Area Public Schools and may be shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

However, you might still be unable to edit Wikipedia if the IP you are using is blocked due to a MediaWiki "feature". In such a case you could request to be unblocked.

In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Northwestern Michigan College/Traverse City Area Public Schools to report network abuse.

This IP has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to abuse of editing privileges. Further abuse from this IP may result in an immediate block without further warning.

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has now been removed. Please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing material in articles will normally be removed quickly. Please see the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing here. Thanks. -- Hankwang 12:12, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Question about Blocking Users

This is the IP of my school, Traverse City Area Public Schools

Obviously, it has its own fair share of fools. If this IP is blocked, am I prevented from editing while I am logged in at that IP? If so, I request that it not be blocked. --68.248.192.233 01:39, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, but sometimes we can't just leave vandals at your school a free pipeline for messing up articles. We understand that it's a school IP, and will therefore block it only very reluctantly. We're very sorry for ever preventing you from making legitimate and helpful edits, but please note that blocks are for a limited time only. When the IP is blocked, I'm afraid you'll just have to edit from somewhere else, though. :-( Oh, and on 24 February, Genghis Khan was vandalised from this IP. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.Gaurav1146 14:11, 17 Mar 2005 (UTC)
