[edit] Dates
You DO realize that the Wiki software renders dates put within linking brackets according the user's set preferences? For example:
- [[14 December]] becomes 14 December
- [[December 14]] becomes December 14
The two should be rendered identically.
On the other hand, if you insert an extraneous space into the dates, as you did with George VI of the United Kingdom, they force a literal rendering of the date:
- [[14 December ]] - 14 December
- [[December 14 ]] - December 14
This appears to have been done deliberately on your part: why? --Calton | Talk 02:42, July 23, 2005 (UTC)
This nonsense over deleting names in royal family pages has gone beyond a joke. Since you obviously don't know the facts, here are some
- Royal House and royal surnames were different before 1917;
- Victoria had a marital name of Von Wettin according to the Royal Archives. Saxe-Coburg-Gotha was her Royal House name, not her personal name.
That has been confirmed to Wikipedia by aides to the current queen.
Please stop this nonsensical deletion of facts. The reason why the Von Wettin name is in there is explained in talk pages all over the place. Next time, read the pages and alerts on pages before making blanket deletions. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 04:23, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
You are being blocked for 24 hours for having a horrible lack of respect for the other editors and their attempts to get you to discuss this. Subsequent blocks will be longer if you refuse to work with the community. --Golbez 04:08, August 11, 2005 (UTC)
You said 'bite me' Mr 203. - well, consider yourself bitten. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 04:12, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
You have been warned on this and other IPs to stop the vandalism of royal articles. To stop your vandalism a number of royal articles had to be protected. You have also been blocked a number of times using those IPs by a number of users. Either you stop this constant vandalism or you will face a considerably longer block next time. Wikipedia reserves the right if necessary to impose an indefinite block on recurring vandals who, notwithstanding having received a series of blocks, still return and vandalise articles.
[edit] German Emperor
Hello there. The correct title is "German Emperor," NOT "Emperor of Germany." Mackensen (talk) 02:17, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

yes... so it is, which is why you may have observed that I edited the fact under an aptly named sub-heading, 'trivia'.
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to User:Sopranosmob781, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link.
