  • March 12 - Purported time traveler John Titor suggests "avoiding Washington DC" at approximately 3:45am, March 12, 2015. This is assumed to be the time of "N-Day" in which Russia launches a nuclear attack on the United States, Europe and China in support of one faction in a second U.S. civil war.
  • March 14 - At 54 seconds past 9:26 am; the date and time (3/14/15 9:26:54) will make the first 10 digits of pi rounded to the last digit, using American date formatting.
  • March 20 - Total solar eclipse (visible in the North Atlantic).
