2011 World Aquatics Championships

The 2011 World Aquatics Championships or the XIV FINA World Championships will be held in 2011.
FINA announced on August 2, 2006 that six bids had been lodged to host the 2011 World Aquatics Championships.
Doha (Qatar), Durban (South Africa), Madrid (Spain) and San Francisco (United States) will bid alongside China and Japan, who had yet to select a nominated city.
The winning candidate will announced in March 2007 during the FINA Bureau meeting in Melbourne, Australia.
