[edit] Suggestions

This articles needs numerous additions, for example, it doesn't mention the recent involvement and threatened involvement of other unions in NZ and elsewhere. Nor does it mention the issue of grocery shelves being empty of certain items which has been covered in the media. Also, I believe the were various attempts at injuctions and other court orders by the union? Perhaps some mention needs to be made of the fact the have been some arrests and also the Progressive PR campaign (the various attempts by Progressive to tell their side of the story) and of the reports of the return of various employees for financial reasons (admitedly maybe this is too obvious) Nil Einne 09:03, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Yeah theres heaps to be added, a Google News search brings up about 500 results so theres plenty of information for anyone wanting to add to this article. (I am working on adding information myself, but only have so much time in the day) Lossenelin 20:41, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What date did they strike?

The intro paragraph says the workers went on strike on August 24. The third paragraph says it was August 25. Moriori 08:14, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I fixed the date, the third paragraph had the right one according to this press release. Also changed the number of workers to 'over 500' as some media says 500, some 520, and some 600. Lossenelin 20:48, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
