{fairusedisputed} What book is this supposed to be a cover of? I don't see no title or anything. Lupo 08:16, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
This book is part of a well known book cover - and is being used by permission of the [Bhaktivedanta Book Trust]. --81.139.7.159 08:35, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Give title, URL, ISBN, or any other means to identify it. Otherwise, this will go as unsourced. Using it without specifying where exactly it comes from is a rip-off and dishonest. Lupo 08:43, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
This image is owned by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, and they are happy for it to be used on an article describing Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Is there another reference type I can put it under? Fair use or somthing? It is very well known within Iskcon and associated movements. --GourangaUK 10:14, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Can you read? Title, author, ISBN, URL where cover is shown, or other sources. Cut-outs of book covers do not fall under the blanked permissions by {{bookcover}}. Whether the BBT are "happy" for it to be used here is entirely irrelevant. Either they officially release this under a free license (and document that fact somewhere on-line), or you source it and use it claiming "fair use", but then you must add a fair use rationale addressing all four points of fair use. You have seven days to comply with Wikipedia's image use regulations from now on, if the image is not properly sourced and licensed by then, it will be deleted. Lupo 10:33, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Okay - I will change it's status to fair use and write in a rationale because as you say 'cut-outs' do not fall under the same banner. --GourangaUK 10:46, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
I think we can assume "fair use" for the image, because of the missionary activity of ISKCON, the image is clearly intended for wide circulation. To quote the "courtesy" of the BTT, we'd need some reference (email? letter? date?). Otherwise we can just claim fair use and be done. dab (ᛏ) 13:35, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Ok - I'll claim fair use as you have suggested dab. Thankyou. GourangaUK 14:17, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
