Image of euro coinage.
These images originally came from the European Central Bank's own site here. The only modification made to them was converting the original .GIF files to .PNG.
- As stated here : " The copyright on the design of the common face of the euro coins belongs to the European Community represented by the Commission. The European Commission has assigned to each of the Member States adopting the euro all the Community rights as regards the territory of such Member State. The Commission will assign the copyright to the other Member States once they adopt the euro. ". Some usage restrictions can be found at the same url.
The image above depicts a unit of currency issued by the European Central Bank (ECB). This design is copyrighted by the ECB, and its use is permitted by ECB, "as long as reproductions in advertising or illustrations cannot be mistaken for genuine banknotes". [1] |
