1 Night in Paris (2004) is an unauthorized sex video of Paris Hilton with her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon, who leaked it onto the Internet. It was released shortly before Hilton's TV series The Simple Life debuted, causing a sensation. Hilton originally sued Salomon for releasing the tape. In July 2005 the suit was settled out of court. Rumors of Hilton receiving up to $400,000 and a percentage of the profits donated to charity turned out to be untrue, when she told GQ magazine "I never received a dime from it. It's just dirty money and he should give it all to some charity for the sexually abused or something." [1] The original video, and copies of the DVD, are still circulating on the Internet. The video received the AVN Awards in 2005 for "Best Selling Title of the Year," "Best Renting Title of the Year" and "Best Overall Marketing Campaign – Individual Project."

1 Night in Paris is distributed by Red Light District, a production company which produces and distributes pornographic videos. 1 Night in Paris is unique in the field of celebrity porn because the company that produced it has a good working relationship with one of the stars, Rick Salomon, who even does intros to each sex scene in the video. It is also one of the most explicit celebrity sex videos, showing clear vaginal penetration and fellatio — as well as Hilton interrupting sex to answer her mobile phone, which led to a number of parodies.
