[edit] About the Album
After many years in the same quintet with Miles Davis, Hancock and Shorter did several tours with the quintet (with Tony Williams, Freddie Hubbard and Ron Carter). But they never did a duet album (just a Piano and a Saxophone.)
They performed several songs, including the Grammy award winning song "Aung San Suu Kyi", named after the political activist. Plus, "Joanna's Theme" which originally was on Hancock's original soundtrack to the film, Death Wish.
