The 1971 World Sportscar Championship season was the 19th season of the FIA World Championship for Makes. It was a series for Sportscars and Grand Touring, with Sportscars being divided into Sports (S) and Prototype (P) classes, while Grand Touring cars were referred to simply as GT. It ran from January 10, 1971 to July 24, 1971, and was comprised of 11 races.
