The 1962 World Sportscar Championship season was the 10th season of the FIA World Sportscar Championship. It was a series for Sportscars and for the first time, Grand Touring cars. It ran from February 11, 1962 to October 21, 1962, and was comprised of 15 races.

This was also the first year that each class and subclass had its own championship, instead of a singular overall Manufacturers Championship.
