[edit] User talk:Jason Gastrich

Hi, and thanks for your comment on my talk page. A quick note, please sign your comments by adding four tildes (like this: ~~~~) to the end of your comments - the Wikipedia software will convert this into a short signature, so people will know when your comment was made. Now regarding your actual comment, you didn't give me much context, but I assume you are referring to my edits to User talk:Jason Gastrich. I don't know much about the history of his presence on the internet, but I don't have to. Whether he is a good or bad Wikipedia editor, persisting in adding such content to his talk page does not solve anything - it will most likely not convince him of your argument, it is distracting for other users trying to leave relevant comments on other issues, and it is entirely apart from any context. Jason's talk page should not be used as a discussion area for what you think of him; it should be used as a way to communicate with him. If you have a specific complaint about regarding him or his actions, there are proper channels on Wikipedia you can use: to start with, have a look at WP:WQA, WP:DR, and WP:AP. If you have any questions or if I can be of any help to you, don't hesitate to let me know on my talk page - however continuing to add the exact same content to Jason's page can only be seen as vandalism. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 09:58, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
