[edit] Fair use rationale for Apollon Smyrnis

  1. Image is historical; a free version cannot be taken
  2. Image illustrates a very important period of the club's history:
    a. Side to which the team's nickname "Light Brigade" was first given
    b. Side for one of the best years (arguably the best year) the team had
  3. Illustrates an important historical aspect of the team:
    a. Displays the swastika logo of the team which was changed after the Nazi invasion of Europe
    b. One of, if not the only image in common circulation to show the team's swastika badge
  4. Image clearly adds significantly to the article—it is not just window dressing
  5. Use will not decrease the value of the copyright—image is low-resolution and is not currently being sold in a commercial enterprise (and is unlikely to ever be sold)
