This article recaps the 1937 European Championship (auto racing) Grand Prix season.

It was called "The Year of Titans" as the unlimited engines produced up to 646hp in 1937. For 1938, the size was limited to 3000cc.

Luigi Fagioli had left Mercedes-Benz because he didn't like the team orders, moving to Auto Union.
