[edit] Notes

  1. ^ a b Redbergslids IK was relegated from Allsvenskan to the lowest division in the Swedish football league system (at that time the 8th level, Division 8) for breaking the amateur rules by paying their players. As the club already finished on a relegation spot, there was no need to alter the results and points of Redbergslids IK or other clubs.
  2. ^ a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o Tie breaker is goal average.
  3. ^ Teams from a large part of northern Sweden, approximately above the province of Medelpad, were not allowed to play in the national league system until the 1953–54 season.
  4. ^ a b c Since extra time, aggregate score and the away goals rule was not used, a third match played on neutral ground decided the play-off.
  5. ^ This replay was played as the third match ended in a draw even after even after two extra times had been added.
